As an indie author, one of the biggest (and perhaps most aggravating) struggles is having to frame your book in a matter of a few sentences. There is so much that goes into the book, and we want to tell readers all of it so they know just how amazing our story actually is.
The thing is, readers don't care, and they won't until they actually spend time reading your book. The book blurb isn't the place to info-dump or share your amazing world-building capabilities. Rather, a good book blurb gets readers excited about the plot and characters of the story. In this episode, I go in-depth to discover what makes a good book blurb, researching sites and multiple points of view to gather the best information.
